WORCESTER, MASS. – The second varsity 8 of the Dartmouth lightweight rowing team qualified for the grand final at the Eastern sprints, claiming sixth place in the race for the team's top showing of the day on Sunday.
In order to qualify for the grand final of the 2VL8, the Big Green finished third in the second heat in 6:01.96.
The Big Green added points by winning the varsity 8 petite final in 5:45.84 after finishing fourth in their heat. In the third varsity 8, the team finished second in the petite final in 6:18.38.
