Men's Team Sends Six to NCAA East Regional This Weekend

HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men's track & field team will send six individuals to the Sunshine State this weekend with the hopes of another trip to Oregon in their near future.

The 2014 NCAA East Regional kicks off Thursday and will run through Saturday evening for members of the Big Green. The meet is hosted by the University of North Florida and will take place at Hodges Stadium.

By advancing out of their heats this weekend in Jacksonville, members Dartmouth's men's team would punch their tickets to Eugene, Oregon, and the 2014 NCAA Division I National Championship Meet at Historic Hayward Field.

The top 48 declared student-athletes from programs in states east of the Mississippi River will participate this weekend in Jacksonville, while the top 48 declared athletes in the western states will compete in Fayetteville, Arkansas, as part of the West Regional. The top 12 in each event from both sites will move on to Oregon (June 11-14).
