ANNAPOLIS, MD. – The Dartmouth women's golf team sits in the third place at the Chesapeake Bay Invitational at the Naval Academy Golf Club with a two-round score of 316 and 319 for a 635 overall and 59-over par. Towson holds the lead carding a 615 and a 39-over par
The course is a par 72 with a yardage of 6,085. The invitational featured 36 holes on Saturday and the invite will conclude with 18 more holes on Sunday.
Sophomore Jamie Susanin and freshman Isabelle Kane finished tied for 13th after the round two and moved up nine spots after the first 18 holes. The duo each shot an 80 in the morning round and then finished the afternoon shooting a 78, respectively.
Senior Jane Lee fell from tied for 13th to tied for 20th after she shot a seven-over 79 in the morning round and then an 81 in the afternoon. Freshman Radi Sauro played independently and finished the first round tied for tenth, but a tough second round bumped her down to 20th, after she carded a six-over 78 followed by a 10-over 82 in the second.
As a team, Dartmouth finished with 91 par holes and 13 birdies. Susanin led the squad with 22 pars, while Kane had four birdies.
