Women's Golf Sit 12th after opening round at Yale Fall Invite

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Dartmouth women's golf team sit 12th out of 17 teams after the first round of the Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate Invitational.
The Yale Golf Course is hosting the event. The course is a par 71 – 6,044 yard facility.
Xavier leads after the opening 36 holes with a team score of 297. Dartmouth's 317 is six stokes behind Long Island and Boston U. Xavier's Shane Crutchfield and Yale's Sara Garmezy are tied for the top spot after carding a 70 (-1).
Dartmouth freshman Isabelle Kane is tied for 12th shooting a 75 (+4). Kane is the only Big Green member in the top 20. The closest teammate is senior Jane Lee, who is tied for 46th. Junior Lily Morrison finished 10-over par (81).
The second round will begin on Saturday as early as 7:40 a.m.
