FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Dartmouth junior Dana Giordano ran in the national final of the 3000m Saturday night at the 2015 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship at the Randal Tyson Center.
Giordano ran to a 12th-place finish in the event, crossing the line in 9:16.20, earning All-America Second-Team recognition.
The New Jersey native entered the meet with the 13th-best time in the nation this season, so the finish Saturday night was on par for the seeding she came in with.
Dominque Scott of Arkansas won the event in a blistering 8:55.19 in front of the Razorbacks' home crowd.
Giordano and the rest of her Dartmouth teammates will now focus on the upcoming outdoor season.
