Dartmouth is looking to pick up important regional wins this week, as the Big Green will embark on an 11-day road trip around the Mid-Atlantic beginning in Long Island on Wednesday and concluding in New York City on Mar. 28 against Columbia. The team will meet four teams in New York, two in the DMV region and one in Pennsylvania before its home/Ivy League opener in early April against Princeton.
Chatty Kathy – Junior catcher Kathy Dzienkowski is hitting .357 on the season with two home runs and six runs batted in. The Austin, Texas, native, was named the Ivy League Player of the Week (3/10) after a stellar weekend at the Holy City Showdown. She hit .600 (6-for-10) with two home runs against South Carolina State and drove home six runs overall with five against the Lady Bulldogs. Her final RBI came off a sacrifice fly in the weekend finale against Jacksonville.
Tiffany & Co. – Freshman Tiffany Dyson hit .500 (4-for-8) in four games down in Charleston, South Carolina. Against Loyola Chicago, she went 2-for-2 off the bench with a walk. The outfielder added two more hits — a double and a triple — against South Carolina State on Saturday night. Dyson finished the weekend with three runs batted in and is hitting .267 in 12 games.
Brooklyn Homecoming – First-year assistant coach Bianca Mejia is headed back to the diamond where she made a name for herself in Brooklyn. Over the weekend, the Big Green will take on the Long Island Blackbirds, a school Mejia called home for three seasons.

Scouting Reports
Hofstra – First-year head coach Larissa Anderson's squad is 7-7-1 and will open their home schedule with the Big Green on Wednesday. In their last contest, the Pride tied Florida Atlantic, 5-5 (11). Hofstra has played four nationally ranked programs and is 1-5 with a victory over No. 20 Notre Dame. Slap hitter Chloe Fitzgerald is hitting .347 with 17 singles. Brittany Allocca leads the squad with 12 RBIs and two home runs. Taylor Pirone is 3-6 with a 2.74 earned run average in 11 appearances inside the circle.
St. John's – The Red Storm were a game away from advancing to the NCAA Tournament last season, but a defeat against DePaul has put the Johnnies in a bit of a tailspin this season. At 6-12, Dartmouth will open up Red Storm Field for the ailing Queens school. The Red Storm won three of their first four games but since have three wins in their last 15 appearances. Krystal Puga leads the team in all offensive categories — .432 batting average, four home runs and 13 runs batted in. Tori Free is 1-4 in the circle in five starts and Francesca Carrullo is 2-3 with a 5.94 ERA.
Long Island - The Blackbirds come back to Fulton & Flatbush after multiple trips to Florida and a long flight to California and sit 9-19 heading into the weekend showdown with the Big Green. Whitney West is hitting .358 on the season with 15 runs batted in and three triples. Nicole Archer is second with 12 RBIs and is tied with Madison Green with a pair of home runs. Shelley Proctor is 5-10 with a 5.23 ERA in 22 appearances.
