RALEIGH, N.C. – The Dartmouth men's track & field team completed its time at the Raleigh Relays on Saturday afternoon.
The meet was hosted by North Carolina State at Paul Derr Track & Field Facility and was non-scoring.
The Big Green's 4x100m relay team ran to an eighth-place finish against a very good field that included nearly 30 other programs. The quartet of Dartmouth runners in the race posted a time of 42.21. The 4x400m relay team took 19th with a 3:22.17 to its credit.
First-year student-athlete Ben Colello claimed ninth in the 400m hurdles, crossing the line in 54.66. Fellow freshman Lloyd May was also ninth in the 200m, running a 22.55.
In the field events, freshman Colin Minor claimed seventh in the hammer throw with a measured toss of 194-10.0/59.38m ranking as his best of the day. Senior Jacob Shippee did Minor one better by taking sixth in the javelin with a throw of 189-7.0/57.80m to his credit.
Senior Corey Muggler was 17th in the triple jump with a measurement of 45-7.25/13.90m.
