Women's Golf Sits in Ninth Place at Brown Bear Invitational

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The Dartmouth women's golf team sits in ninth place after the first day of competition at the Brown Bear Invitational with a team score of 315. Yale leads the field carding a 295.
Senior Jane Lee is tied for sixth and shot a 74 at the par-71 Metacomet Country Club. Lee sits just two strokes behind the leader Nicole Scola of Quinnipiac.
Sophomore Jamie Susanin is right behind Lee in 19th and carded 5-over 76. Freshman Jessica Kittelberger and sophomore Tara Simmons are both tied for 49th after shooting an 81, respectively.
Freshman Isabelle Kane struggled on the course and is 13-over through 18 holes along with junior Lily Morrison.
The second day of play begins Monday morning.
