Women's Golf Sits Seventh at Ivy League Championship

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Dartmouth women's golf team sits in seventh place after the opening round of the 2015 Ivy League Championship at the Saucon Valley Country Club. The Big Green finished the day with a team score of 344.

Columbia leads the pack and carded a 312. Yale and Princeton are tied for second with a 317 and are followed by Brown, Harvard and Penn.

Despite sitting in fourth, Brown's Christine Kim is in first place in the field of 35 golfers and shot a 3-over 75. Columbia's Jacquelune Chulya is in second (76) and Penn's Sophie Chen and Columbia's Monique Ishikawa are tied for third and shot a 77.

Freshman Jessica Kittelberger carded Dartmouth's lowest score and sits in 25th with an 84. Sophomore Jamie Susanin is one behind Kittelberger and is tied for 26th. Freshman Isabelle Kane is at 87 and senior Jane Lee is at 88.

The second day of competition will begin Saturday morning.
