Women's Golf Improves During Second Round of Ivy Championship

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Dartmouth women's golf team shot 20 strokes better today and still sit in seventh place after the second round of the 2015 Ivy League Women's Golf Championship at Saucon Valley Golf Club in Bethlehem, Pa.

Dartmouth is coming off a performance in the first round that saw them shoot a 344. On Saturday, the team improved its overall score (324), but still trails the leaders Harvard and Columbia by 48 strokes.

Harvard's Courtney Hooton has jumped into the lead after shooting a 79 on Friday and bounced back to card a 72 after 36 holes. Dartmouth's lowest individual is sophomore Jamie Susanin, who is tied for 15th and eliminated almost 10 strokes on her card and is 15-over.

Freshman Jessica Kittelberger is tied for 27th and shot an 81 today for a two-day total of 165. Classmate Isabelle Kane stayed in 30th as did senior Jane Lee, who is in 32nd.

Sunday will conclude the championship with 18 more holes.
