CHATTANOOGA, TENN. — Freshman Isabelle Kane is tied for second after 36 holes at the Chattanooga Classic at the Par-72 6,070-yard Council Fire Golf Club. As a team, Dartmouth is seventh after they were tied for fifth after the first 18 holes on Monday.
Rain and sloppy conditions played a factor in the day, as a long delay put the players in the clubhouse before completing the rounds.
Host Chattanooga is atop the leaderboard and shot an 18-over 594. Dartmouth shot a 311 in the first and then a 321 in the final 18 holes.
Morgan Random on Vanderbilt is the leader and the only player to hit under-par.
Kane carded a 72 in the first round and a 73 in the second for a 1-over par 145. Freshman Jessica Kittelberger shot an 18-over 162 and is tied for 41st. Classmate Radi Sauro shot a 19-over 163 followed by senior Jane Lee and sophomore Lilly Morrison.
The Big Green will complete the Chattanooga Classic on Tuesday with another 18 holes
