Dartmouth women's soccer will take on Maine in its second to last non-conference game of the season at a neutral site in Saco on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green pushed their unbeaten streak to seven games following a scoreless draw Sunday afternoon at Brown in the 2015 Ivy League opener for both teams. Dartmouth is now 5-0-2 in its last seven outings and is 6-1-2 overall this fall. Goalkeeper Casey Cousineau turned aside four shots in picking up her second solo shutout of the season. A relatively clean game with no cards issued, the Green held a 23-16 edge in shot attempts. Of those combined 39 bids, only 11 found their way on goal, with the visitors credited for seven.
SCOUTING THE BLACK BEARS
On Sunday, Maine opened its conference season by tying Hartford, 1-1, in double overtime. Hartford outshot the Black Bears, 17-14, with Maine goalkeeper Claudia Dube-Trempe making a total of three saves in 110 minutes of play. Charlene Achille leads the squad with four goals and an assist for nine points.
LAST TIME AGAINST MAINE
On Sept. 22, 2013, Emma Brush scored the game-winning goal in the 63rd minute to give the Big Green a 1-0 victory over the Brown Bears at Burnham Field. Dartmouth played a tight defensive contest and held Maine to six shots, with Tatiana Saunders making four saves. Neither team possessed the ball for much of the first half, but the Black Bears had a 3-2 edge in shots.
RAINEY AND COMPANY
In his first season with the Big Green in 2014, head coach Ron Rainey compiled a record of 8-5-4 and a 3-1-3 mark in Ivy League play. Joining Rainey on the bench are Grace Barnard, who is in her second season as an assistant coach, and Cord Farmer, who joined Dartmouth after spending last season at Nevada.

The Green are led by Corey Delaney, Jackie Friedman and Kozlov, who are all entering their final season on the field. So far this season, Kozlov leads the trio with 19 points from nine goals and an assists
FRESH FACES
Opening their collegiate careers this year and making up a 10-player freshman class are Remy Borinsky, Chloe Conacher, Jaclyn Engel, Stephanie Everett, Julia Fissore-O'Leary, Katie Harris, Lauren Lucas, Ellen Pattinson, Lillian Raffetto and Sally Sandoval. Leading the group is Lucas, who has registered seven points off a goal and five assists.
IN THE STANDINGS
The team and a handful of players are faring well in the conference right now. Dartmouth is first out of the eight Ivy League schools in points (73), goals (24), goals per game (2.67), assists (25), assists per game (2.78) and is second in corner kicks (54), shutouts (5), goals allowed (4) and goals against average (0.42). Individually, Lucielle Kozlov is first in points (19), points per game (2.11), goals (9), goals per game (1.00) and game-winning goals (4). Melanie Vangel and Lauren Lucas are tied for first with two others players in assists (5) and are tied for second in assists per game (0.56). In net, Casey Cousineau is second in goals against average (0.51) and save percentage (.871), and fourth in saves (27) and saves per game (3.38).
BETWEEN THE PIPES
In net, Cousineau has made 27 saves while allowing just four goals, has a save percentage of .871 in 711 minutes of action. Most recently against Brown, she had four saves in the team's scoreless draw, while earning her second solo shutout of the season.. Fuhs is 1-0-0 after picking up the team's first win of the season against Marist back in August. She has made three saves and has not allowed a goal thus far in 138 minutes of action.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Green will host two games within a three-day span. On Saturday, Oct. 3, Dartmouth will take on Princeton at 7 p.m. and, on Tuesday, Oct. 6, it will face Hampton at 4 p.m.
