PRINCETON, N.J. – Dartmouth women's soccer was picked to finish second in the 2026 Ivy League Preseason Poll, as announced by the Ivy League on Tuesday, August 18. The reigning Ivy League champions, the Big Green, received 109 votes, as they took four of the 16 first place votes.
Princeton was picked to finish in the top spot as they received 120 total votes and 10 first place votes. Following Dartmouth, Brown received 98 total votes and two first place votes. Columbia followed with 81 votes, and then Harvard with 71 votes. Penn, Cornell and Yale, followed in the sixth and seventh spots in the Poll.

The Big Green owned an overall record of 11-4-4, and an Ivy League record of 4-1-2, which included winning the first Ivy League Championship title in program history.
In addition, the coaching staff became the first coaching staff in program history to be named the Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year.
Anna Leschly earned the first Rookie of the Year recognition since 2012. Five players,
Ola Goebel,
Stephanie Lathrop,
Ellie Davidson,
Anna Leschly and
Hailey Rorick, were all named to the 2025 All-Ivy teams. It was the most First Team All-Ivy recipients since 2012 that the Big Green had earned. Also, Dartmouth earned an NCAA Tournament berth for the first time since 2005.
The reigning Ivy League champions, Dartmouth women's soccer will begin the 2026 season on Thursday, August 20
th with a matchup against UMass Lowell at 6:00 pm at Burnham Field.
