HAMILTON, N.Y. – Dartmouth women's soccer defeated Colgate, 2-0, in a non-conference matchup on Sunday afternoon. Madison Rose and Emmanuella Frimpomaa scored goals for the Big Green, while Tasha Udebhulu and Michal Cagungun tallied assists and Ola Goebel recorded her third-straight shutout. Dartmouth has won three-straight games in a row and have an overall, impressive record of 5-1-2.

In the first half, the Raiders started off with a few chances on goal; however, Goebel and the Big Green defense stood tall. After that, Dartmouth steadily built a strong offensive presence, The Big Green outshot Colgate, 15-8 in the first half and 24-12, in total. In the 41st minute, Tasha Udebhulu took possession of the ball and passed it to Madison Rose, as Rose made a move against one of the Raiders' defenders and put a great shot on goal. The shot landed in the back of the net and the Big Green went up, 1-0 into halftime.

In the second half, Dartmouth looked to extend their lead and in the 56th minute, they earned their second goal, with a rocket of a goal by Emmanuella Frimpomaa, with an assist from Michal Cagungun. With a 2-0 lead, the Big Green wanted to stay in control, while also looking to add another goal to the board. Cagungun and Rose had close shots on goal; but Dartmouth kept their two goal advantage.

As time ticked down, the Raiders tried to get another opportunity to score; however, Ola Goebel and the Dartmouth defense secured the 2-0 victory. Goebel finished the game with her third-straight shutout and three saves against Colgate.
