Big Green Tied for Ninth In Round One of Bearcat Classic

HOWEY IN THE HILLS, Fla. – The Dartmouth women's golf team currently sits tied for ninth place with a score of 326, (+38) at the conclusion of Day 1 of the Bearcat Spring Classic in Florida.
After the first round, Akron sits atop the leaderboard at 313 (+25) followed by the host school, Cincinnati at 314, (+26).
Sophomore Radi Sauro had a nice outing for herself with a birdie on the par four fifth hole. She also birdied the final two holes on the back nine to finish the day +5.
Sophomore Isabelle Kane turned in the best performance of the day for the Big Green, finishing the day with team best 78 (+6). Freshman teammate Julia Calbi also had a solid day on the links shooting a team best 39 on the front nine holes and a 42 on the back nine to finish her round +9.
The Bearcat Spring Classic will resume tomorrow morning with a shot gun start of 8 a.m.
