GREENWICH, Conn. – The Dartmouth women's golf team is in sixth place after the second round of play at the 2016 Ivy League Women's Golf Championship at The Stanwich Club in Greenwich, Connecticut.
The Big Green shot a combined 329 (+37) for a two-day score of 654. Four-time defending champion Harvard still leads the field at 614, while Princeton is in second with 620 and Yale rounds of the top three at 630 through two rounds at the par-73 course.
Sophomore Isabelle Kane had the best score of the afternoon with an 80 to finish in a three-way tie for 19th. Her day was highlighted by a birdie on the par-four first hole and five pars on the front nine. Freshman Julia Calbi was the only Dartmouth participant in the top 10 on the overall leaderboard as the South Barrington, Illinois native is in a six-way tie for ninth. Calbi shot an 82 after she was three over on the front nine with five pars.
Sophomore Jessica Kittelberger also shot an 82, which was good for a tie for 17th. Freshmen Catharine Roddy improved her score by one stroke, shooting an 85 and is tied for 32nd, while Radi Sauro repeated her first round score of 87 for 35th.
The teams will return to the course tomorrow for 10 a.m. tee times, where the Ivy League champion will be crowned.
