THIS WEEKEND
Having played all of its Ivy League opponents once, Dartmouth volleyball is starting back at the top of the list, hosting Harvard on Friday.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green went 1-1 at home last weekend, falling to Yale, 3-0 (16-25, 21-25, 14-25) before defeating Brown by the same score (25-16, 25-14, 25-19) the following day.
Against the Bulldogs, Tori Dozier had a double-double with 24 assists and 13 digs, while Carly Tower led with six kills and Elise Petit was a close second in digs with nine. Appearing in her first match of her senior year, Morgan Dressel played well, registering two kills, one block assist and ending with a .400 hitting percentage.
On Saturday, Dozier had another double-double to bring her to nine overall this season, wrapping up the match with 26 assists and 10 digs. Lauren Douglas led with 15 digs and Samantha Bozoian was first among the Big Green with nine kills.
SCOUTING THE CRIMSON
Harvard had a very similar result to Dartmouth this past weekend, falling to Yale (19-25, 25-22, 19-25, 20-25) and defeating Brown (23-25, 25-14, 25-20, 25-21), but in four sets instead of three. The Crimson are tied for second in the conference with Princeton, which lost its position at the top of the standings after falling to both Cornell and Columbia.
LAST TIME AGAINST HARVARD
Led by Olympia Nagel-Caland with a career-best 12 kills, Dozier and her 35 assists, and Douglas with 19 digs, the Big Green played well, but fell to the Crimson, 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 23-25, 20-25) in its Ivy opener on Sept. 22.
