SUNDAY'S GAME
The Dartmouth women's soccer team returns to its home field to take on Quinnipiac in an afternoon matchup.
SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
Quinnipiac enters the match with an identical season record of 3-2-0, and coming off a 3-1 loss to Miami last weekend. Leading the Bobcats offense is junior forward Nadya Gill, with three goals and two assists. Sophomore keeper Olivia Myszewski holds a 3-2-0 record in the net, has grabbed 24 saves, and allowed nine goals from opponents this season.
LAST TIME AGAINST QUINNIPIAC
This will be the second meeting between the two teams. In September of 2010, the Bobcats took down the Big Green 3-1 and hold the series lead 1-0.
LAST TIME OUT
Dartmouth is coming off a Thursday night 3-0 win over Albany. Sophomore midfielder Alyssa Neuberger led the way with two goals, and junior midfielder Remy Borinsky scored one goal in the first two minutes of play.
BETWEEN THE PIPES
Mariel Gordon has started her freshman season strong, with 21 saves she is tied for second in the Ivy League in saves and tied for second in shutouts with two. She has five goals allowed so far this season and an .808 save percentage.
CLASS OF 2021
Sunday will be the sixth game for the freshmen members of the Big Green and they continue to take opportunities offensively and defensively. While Gordon is holding down the fort in the goal, midfielder Erin Kawakami recorded her first assist Thursday night against Albany. Lorna MacFarlane and Bonnie Shea have taken four shots apiece.
