HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women's soccer team celebrated more than their seniors Saturday night on Burnham Field. After falling behind 1-0 in the first half, the Big Green scored three goals in the second half to come away with a 3-1 victory over Harvard.

Before the match, seniors
Remy Borinsky,
Jaclyn Engel,
Ellen Pattinson,
Chloe Conacher,
Lauren Lucas and
Sally Sandoval were honored for their contributions to the team.

Borinsky finished with a goal and two assists, while
Erin Kawakami had a goal and an assist and
Izzy Glennon secured a goal as well.
Hayley Soriano and
Zoe Boocock each finished with an assist.

Dartmouth (9-5-2, 3-2-1 Ivy) outshot Harvard (6-7-1, 3-2-1 Ivy) 12-9 and 9-4 on goal. The Big Green held a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks for the match.

"I'm proud of the way that we responded tonight," said head coach
Ron Rainey. "This was a perfect way to celebrate our seniors and cap off homecoming."

Harvard struck first in the 20th minute on Taylor Nielson's third goal of the season. The Crimson would hang on to keep the score 1-0 for the remainder of the half.

The second half was all Big Green and it did not take long for Dartmouth to tie things up. In the 50th minute Borisnky and Soriano each had shots saved setting up a third attempt for Kawakami who sent home her third goal of the season to tie the score at 1-1.

In what Started on a free kick in the 73rd minute, Dartmouth was able to take the lead when Boocock sent the ball toward Borinsky in front of the net who gave it off to Glennon who pushed it through for her third goal of the year to make it 2-1 Big Green.

The final goal of the match came on a long shot from Borinsky who let it fly from 25 yards out and found the top-left corner of the net to put the exclamation point on the game and secure the 3-1 win. It was Borinsky's sixth goal of the season which marks a career high for her.

Dartmouth finishes with a 6-2-1 record at home and plays its regular season finale on Saturday at 2 p.m. when they travel to Cornell.
