THIS WEEKEND
Dartmouth volleyball will play at home one last time this weekend, hosting Brown and Yale on Friday and Saturday.
Â
TIME TO SAY GOODBYE
Before the match against the Bulldogs on Saturday, the Big Green will honor their two graduating seniors.
Â
Samantha Bozoian: In 2018, she has registered 18 kills, one assist, four digs and seven block assists. Throughout her career, she has recorded 111 kills, 32 digs and 30 blocks.
Â
Zoe Leonard: As a senior, she has a team-leading 253 digs and 4.08 digs per set while adding 61 assists and four service aces. Throughout her four years in Hanover, she has accumulated nine kills, 538 assists, 63 aces and 869 digs, the latter of which puts her 16th in the all-time record book.
Â
LAST TIME OUT
Dartmouth snapped Bryant's five-match winning streak on Tuesday, defeating the Bulldogs, 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-23) in both teams' final non-conference contest of the season.
Â
Mallen Bischoff led with nine kills and also added three assists and three digs, while
Abby Kott had a .429 hitting percentage and six total blocks. Leonard was first with 16 digs and
Corinne Cox had a team-leading 17 assists.
Â
SCOUTING THE BEARS
Although Brown did quite well during non-conference play, the Bears have struggled since then, going 2-8 in Ivy play. Since falling to the Big Green just over two weeks ago, Brown has gone 1-2, defeating Penn while falling to Yale and Princeton.
Â
LAST TIME AGAINST BROWN
On Oct. 13, the Green took down the Bears by a score of 3-1 (25-20, 25-19, 28-30, 25-19), rebounding from a dropped third set to return to Hanover with the win.
Â
Elise Petit led the team with 12 kills and 13.0 points. Three players had double-digit digs; Bischoff, Leonard and
Annemarie Horn, while Kott had seven block assists.
Â
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Yale enters the weekend on a seven-match winning streak after going undefeated for the entirety of October. The Bulldogs' last loss was on September 29 to Princeton. The two teams spent most of the season vying for first place in the standings. They went head-to-head this weekend and the Bulldogs came out on top.
Â
LAST TIME AGAINST YALE
The Green suffered a 3-0 loss to the Bulldogs on Oct. 12, all by scores of 25-19.
Â
Petit led with her eight kills, .444 hitting percentage and 9.5 points. She also had two digs and two total blocks. Cox was first with 13 assists, Leonard had 10 digs and both
Tola Akinwumi and
Francesca Meldrum had three total blocks.
