"We showed heart and grit today," head coach
Gilad Doron said after the match. "We came out unprepared for Brown, which is known for playing good defense. We might not have been prepared, but I'm glad we saved the best for last. And now we have a better opportunity to win tomorrow against Yale on Senior Day. After a slow start, Zoe was great and had 33 digs, while Carly continued to play well, which was good to see. Hopefully, everyone shows up tomorrow to get us another win."

Dartmouth controlled the opening parts of the first set, jumping out to a 10-4 lead following kills by Tower, freshman

With the Green ahead, 21-20, two kills by Nagel-Caland and an error by the Bears put Dartmouth at set-point. The home team was held there while Brown got within one, but a kill by freshman
Nicole Liddle gave the Green their first win of the evening (25-23).
Â
In set four, Dartmouth continued dominating, pulling further and further ahead until it had a 19-11 edge. A 6-1 Brown run made it a closer set (20-17), but a trio of errors by the Bears and kills by Petit and Liddle tied things up, 2-2 (25-19).
