Sometimes you just can't get enough action and want the game to never end. This week's athletes of the week both scored overtime winners to lead their respective teams to victory. Eduvie Ikoba, a senior on the men's soccer team, booted the overtime goal in a 2-1 win on the road at Cornell. Also on the road Jennifer Costa scored the first goal of her collegiate career in overtime at Quinnipiac.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named the DartmouthSports.com Athletes of the Week.

Eduvie Ikoba, Sr., Bettendorf, Iowa, F, Men's Soccer
Senior Eduvie Ikoba played a role in both goals in Dartmouth's 2-1 victory at Cornell on Saturday. From Bettendorf, Iowa, Ikoba first assisted on Braden Salvati's goal in the 47th minute to tie the match at one. With the score knotted at 1-apiece the game went to overtime where Ikoba scored in the 96th minute on a header from a corner kick booted by Noah Paravicini to give the Big Green the 2-1 win.
Jennifer Costa, So., Pawtucket, R.I., F, Women's Hockey
Jennifer Costa's first goal of her career scored with just over a minute to go in overtime lifted Dartmouth to a 3-2 win over Quinnipiac on Saturday. Costa took both shots attempted in the overtime session with the first being saved and then beating the Bobcats keeper with the second, ending the game with just over a minute to go in the extra period. The Big Green were the first team to defeat the Quinnipiac in almost a month.
