Much of his scoring came from behind the arc where he hit 16-of-29 3-pointers as he took over the nation's lead in 3-point percentage (55.8).
The week began Monday afternoon with an 82-73 victory over Sacred Heart at Leede Arena in which Barry produced 17 points with four triples, his last coming after the Pioneers had whittled a 16-point Big Green lead down to five with four minutes to play, securing the outcome. The Ivy League leader in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.1) also handed out six helpers with just one turnover.
Dartmouth struggled shooting the ball at Albany on Saturday, but Barry still had the touch, knocking down 4-of-7 trifectas and 6-of-11 field goals to tie for the team lead with 16 points in the 61-52 comeback victory. The Big Green fell behind by as many as 16 in the first half, yet rallied for its largest deficit overcome since the end of the 2014-15 campaign. Barry also hauled in seven rebounds and dished out five assists while playing every second of the game.
A Dartmouth player also won the honor last week in sophomore forward
Chris Knight, marking the first time the Big Green had back-to-back winners of the award in over 23 years. Sea Lonergan took home the hardware on Feb. 27, 1995, and Jamie Halligan followed that up with his own honor on March 6.
Speaking of Knight, he was included on the Ivy League honor roll this week as well for averaging a double-double (14.3 points, 10.0 rebounds) in the three wins while adding 14 assists and six blocks.
