FINISHING THE HOME STAND
Dartmouth concludes its four-game home stand when they face what may be their toughest opponent to date this season. The Big Green matchup with Buffalo from the Mid-American conference, the Bulls advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament last season.
DISHING OUT HOLIDAY SPIRIT
- There will be an ugly sweater contest at the game so wear your holiday or ugly sweater.
- The first 100 fans will receive free hot chocolate.
- Fans can take photos with the Big Green elves.
ROUTING THE RIVER HAWKS
- After a low scoring first half, Dartmouth exploded for 30 points in the third, outscoring UMass Lowell 30-13 in the quarter to run away and eventually defeat the River Hawks, 70-56.
- Cy Lippold recorded a career high 25 points and seven 3-pointers.
- Three others for Dartmouth tallied double figures led by Annie McKenna who tied her career highs with 14 points and seven assists.
- Isalys Quinones and Kealy Brown each added 11 points, Quinones pulled down six rebounds, while Brown had four.
- Paula Lenart led all players with 12 rebounds and Elle Louie grabbed seven boards for the Big Green.
- The Big Green outrebounded the River Hawks 39-31 and had 15 assists compared to seven for UMass Lowell.
CY'S NIGHT
- Lippold's new career high came exactly one year and a day after her previous high of 24 points, which took place at Colorado. In that game, Lippold only hit one 3-pointer and was 9-18 from the field, 5-7 from the free throw line and dished out seven assists.
- The first two threes against UMass Lowell came in the first quarter and she drilled five in the third, giving her 15 points in the quarter.
- Lippold's seven 3-pointers is one shy of the Dartmouth single game record of eight which has been done three times.
- Courtney Banghart hit eight in 2000 against Harvard and Jeannie Cullen did it twice in 2003 against Iona and 2004 against Penn.
- Lippold was the first Dartmouth player to make five or more 3-pointers since Kate Letkewicz made five last season at Yale.
STILL UNBEATEN AT LEEDE
- Dartmouth is 4-0 at home this season with wins over Loyola (54-41), Boston University (64-44), Fairfield (59-46) and UMass Lowell (70-56).
- The Big Green are averaging 61.8 ppg at Leede Arena and are outscoring opponents by an average of 15.5 ppg at home.
- Dartmouth is shooting 43% on its home court and 34% from long distance, while holding opposing teams to 33% from the field and 26% from three.
- Three players are averaging double digit points at home led by Quinones (13.5 ppg), Lippold (12.3 ppg) and McKenna (10.0 ppg).
IVY STATS
- Dartmouth currently sits in second place in the Ivy League standings behind Penn and has the second longest winning streak in the conference.
- The Big Green are second in ppg allowed in the conference with 56.0 and have the second-best scoring margin at +6.8.
- Dartmouth leads the Ivy League with .442 field goal percentage and is second with a .697 free throw percentage.
- The Big Green are shooting .335 percent from long distance which leads the conference.
BUFFALO'S WILD RIDE
- Buffalo had its best season ever a season ago going 29-6, winning its conference tournament and advancing to the Sweet 16 of the NCAAA Tournament. As an 11 seed, the Bulls first defeated No. 6 South Florida, 102-79.
- They then went on to beat No. 3 Florida State, 86-65, before falling to South Carolina, who made it to the Final Four.
- Cierra Dillard averaged 29 ppg during the tournament run. She had 36 against South Florida, 22 against Florida State and 29 against South Carolina.
SCOUTING THE BULLS
- Dillard is back for her senior season and was named the Big 4 Preseason Player of the Year.
- Dillard leads the team with 25.8 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 5.0 apg and 3.5 spg. She has been named the MAC Player of the Week three times already this season.
- Courtney Wilkins is averaging 14.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg, while Theresa Onwuka averages 10.8 ppg and 4.3 rpg.
- Buffalo is 6-2 this season. Its only losses are to No. 3 Oregon (102-82) and most recently Dayton (72-59).
- The Bulls are averaging 74.8 ppg and are allowing 69.0 ppg. If you take away the Oregon game they are only allowing 56.2 ppg and are outscoring opponents by 18.6 ppg.

- This is the first all-time meeting between the programs.
