HANOVER, N.H. – A fast first quarter jumped Dartmouth out to a big advantage and they never looked back. The Big Green (4-4) evened their record with a 59-46 victory over Fairfield (2-7) Sunday afternoon at Leede Arena. Â
Isalys Quinones led the way with 18 points, four rebounds and two steals.

Cy Lippold finished with eight points and three assists, while
Kealy Brown and
Katie Douglas each had six for the Big Green.
"We had a great first quarter and a lot of that has to do with our 12 pressure that we implemented in Las Vegas," saidÂ
Belle Koclanes, the Gail Koziara Boudreaux '82 and Family Head Coach of Women's Basketball. "Our pace has been so much better to start the game which is leading to our offense and we saw positive execution.
Elle Louie continues to be our spark off the bench and Ice and Cy continue to lead the team as seniors and team leaders. I am really pleased with our effort but we still have a lot to learn in terms of extending the lead." Koclanes continued.
Â
After Fairfield scored the first two buckets to take an early 4-0 advantage, it was all Dartmouth from then on out in the first.
