HANOVER, N.H. – The Big Green women's tennis opened the fall on Friday, facing Harvard on day one of the two-day Dartmouth Shootout at the Thompson Outdoor Courts.
"We learned a great deal about ourselves today," head coach
Bob Dallis said. "We will have another opportunity to compete and put these lessons to use tomorrow."

Nicole Conard played well against Jenna Friedel and Irene Lu, narrowly falling to the Crimson duo, 8-7(4).

Abigail Chiu, and freshmen
Jingyi Peng and
Nina Paripovic all played singles matches, falling to their opponents. Chiu and Peng both fought to keep their matches close and won a set each.
Dartmouth and Harvard will meet again at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
