NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Dartmouth women's tennis team opened the three-day Bulldog Invitational on Friday by taking on Brown. The Big Green won three matches overall.
Freshmen
Jingyi Peng and
Nicole Conard paired up to take down Julia Newman and Alessandra Bianco by a score of 6-1. Sophomores
Madison Hwang and
Abigail Chiu, and freshman Nicole Paripovic and sophomore
Jasmine Abidi kept the score close, but ultimately fell to their opponents.
In singles action, junior
Chuyang Guan had a 6-4, 6-1 defeat of Sophia Reddy, while Paripovic defeated Juliana Simon, 6-3, 5-7 (10-5).
The Big Green will return to the court at 1 p.m. on Saturday to face Boston University.
