HANOVER, N.H. – The 50th Dartmouth Relays ended the same way the last eight had: with the Big Green women's track & field team claiming the team title.
Dartmouth posted 238.50 points on the day inside Leverone Field House, 170 more than second-place Vermont, en route to its ninth-consecutive crown at the mid-season meet in dominating fashion.
HIGHLIGHTS:
• The Green and White dominated the 400m, taking all six scoring spots.
Caroline Walter (58.41) was the winner with
Kathryn Laskoski (58.51),
Kayla Gilding (58.72), Elizabeth Wilson (58.84) and
Jacqueline Perron-Smith (59.73) rounding out the scoring that resulted in 31 total points.
• The 800m was also a dominant showing for the home team as
Claire Dougherty (2:11.62) paced the field that saw
Annalisa Crowe (21:16.59),
Alexa Jennings (2:17.01),
Georgia Fear (2:17.93) and
Isabelle Giordano (2:18.57) take the next four spots.
• After finishing first in the preliminaries of the 60m in 7.84,
Nicole Deblasio ran a 7.78 in the final to earn the win.

Rachel Ludwikowski ran a 10:02.10 to win the 3000m with
Abigail Brazil (10:08.94) taking second.
• Gilding, Perron-Smith, Laskoski and Walter combined to run a 3:55.03 and win the 4x400m relay with ease.
• The 4x800m relay quartet ran a 9:53.11 to take second.

Brooke Brunet (11-9.75/3.60m) won the pole vault with
Julia Valenti,
Shanthi Hiremath and
Olivia Goodwin all clearing 11-3.75/3.45m to earn the next three spots.

Zoe Dainton was the winner of the high jump, clearing 5-7.0/1.70m.
• Dartmouth picked up 18 total points in the shot put with
Lily Lockhart's second-place finish thanks to a 13.49m toss.
The Dartmouth Relays began in 1969 and celebrated its 50th anniversary this weekend. Many former Dartmouth runners, throwers and jumpers returned to Hanover to partake in the celebration that included a lap around the Leverone track.
The lone home meet of the season for the Big Green, the team will head out on the road next weekend to compete against Columbia and Yale in the annual tri-meet held this year in New York City.
