Columbia comes to Hanover for a meeting under the lights on Saturday. Every game from here on out is a must-win for the Big Green to compete for an Ivy League championship.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Big Green picked up their first road win of the season on Saturday with a 1-0 result at Penn.
- Tiger Graham scored in the 55th minute off an assist from Zach Kalk.
- It was Graham's third goal of the season, tying him for the team lead.
- Alex Budnik secured his third shutout of the season with four saves.
- With the victory, Dartmouth moved into second place in the Ivy League standings with a 2-1-0 conference record.
SCOUTING COLUMBIA
- The Lions have had an up-and-down season and come into Saturday with a 3-5-3 record.
- Columbia is tied for third in the Ivy League standings with a 1-1-1 record.
- In the conference, Columbia's win came against Brown (3-2), their draw was with Penn (1-1) and their loss was against Princeton (2-1).
- The Lions started the year 0-2-2 and won their first game against UConn (3-2), since then, they are 2-3-1.
- John Denis leads the team with five goals, three assists and 13 points.
- Uri Zeitz has four goals and two assists, while Sebastian Gunbeyi has three goals and two assists.
AGAINST THE LIONS
- Dartmouth holds the all-time series, 29-24-7, dating back to 1960.
- The Big Green are 2-1-0 in the last three years and have not lost at home to Columbia since 2013.
- The Lions came away with a 1-0 overtime win in New York last season. Gunbeyi scored in the 95th minute.
FINAL FOUR
- The season comes down to the final four games left on the schedule.
- Dartmouth starts with Columbia, then plays at Harvard, home against Cornell and at Brown.
- The Big Green are only behind Yale with a 2-1-0 record in the Ivy league standings and will most likely have to win the rest of their games to win the conference.
- Yale is 3-0-0 in the league with Penn, Columbia, Brown and Princeton left on its Ivy slate.
