NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Dartmouth men's tennis senior
Charlie Broom saw his ITA National Fall Championship journey come to an end on Friday with a loss in the consolation draw.
Broom started his day with a 7-6(6), 6-2 victory over Mississippi State's Gregor Ramskogler. The Big Green senior suffered a loss of the same score to UCF's Gabriel Decamps later on.
"We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to travel out here and compete at such a prestigious tournament," head coach
Xander Centenari said. "We took advantage of opportunities in many moments and missed some opportunities in others. We just need to get clear on how to capitalize even further going forward. Every time we are deep in a set or have to deal with momentum swings or other varying conditions, these are all opportunities for growth. And our guys are growing by the day."
The rest of the Big Green squad will close the fall at the Bear Invitational in Providence this weekend.
