HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's tennis narrowly fell to UMass by a score of 4-3 at the Boss Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon. The Big Green are now 3-8 overall, while the Minutewomen improved to 7-2.

Allison McCann defeated their opponents in a close match, 7-5.
The visitors made it 2-0 with a win at No. 3 singles, but junior
Chuyang Guan got Dartmouth in the game with a 6-2, 6-2 defeat of Martina Bocchi at the No. 4 position. The Minutewomen got their lead back at the No. 2 position before freshman
Jingyi Peng took down Anna Napadiy, 6-4, 7-5 at No. 5.
UMass clinched with a three-set win at the top spot before McCann added one more Big Green victory, also in three sets, at the No. 6 position.
In two weeks, Dartmouth will head to Texas for Spring Break, playing against Rice, TCU and SMU over the course of six days.
