Sophomore outfielder Ubaldo Lopez got on track at the plate last week by hitting .409 with five doubles, two home runs and 11 RBIs for a slugging percentage of .909 over six games, earning National Player of the Week accolades from Collegiate Baseball as well. He served notice that he had found his swing in the first of those contests, belting a two-run blast and a two-out grand slam in the ninth to account for all six Dartmouth runs in a 6-2 win over Bradley. He then doubled in each of the next two games against the Braves before going 5-for-12 with three doubles, five runs and five RBIs in the series victory at Princeton. His biggest hit was another game-winner with two outs in the ninth, a bases-clearing double to help the Big Green overcome a 6-5 deficit en route to a 10-8 triumph.
