COMES DOWN TO THIS
The final weekend of the season is at home against Columbia and Cornell. Dartmouth still has a chance to make the Ivy league Tournament. This is the first time in the
Belle Koclanes era that the Big Green have not been eliminated from playoff contention going into the final weekend.
TOURNAMENT SCENARIOS
- The most likely scenario to get the Big Green the final spot is if Dartmouth sweeps Columbia and Cornell, and Yale gets swept by Penn and Princeton. This would put the Big Green at 7-7 and the Bulldogs at 6-8.
- There are many scenarios that could take place, including a three-way and four-way tie for fourth place.
- If a tie happens, Dartmouth sneaks in with a loss to Columbia and a Cornell win over Harvard on Friday. Then the Big Green would have to defeat the Big Red on Saturday and hope that Yale loses both of its games.
- If Yale wins one game this weekend against Penn or Princeton, Dartmouth is eliminated and the Bulldogs make the tournament.
SENIOR NIGHT
THIRD-QUARTER WOES AT PRINCETON
- Dartmouth was right in the game until the third quarter last Friday at Princeton and the Big Green eventually fell, 64-47.
- The Big Green led 19-13 at the end of the first quarter and trailed 28-27 at halftime.
- The third quarter got away from Dartmouth as it was outscored 27-8 and Princeton took a 54-36 advantage at the end of three and that was all it took for the Tigers to win.
- Elle Louie led the Big Green with 12 points on 6-11 shooting, while Brown finished with nine.
- Quinones scored eight points and pulled down nine rebounds and Katie Douglas had eight points and five rebounds.
- Annie McKenna finished with seven points, three rebounds and three steals.
- Dartmouth's defense held Bella Alarie, the Ivy League's leading scorer, to 12 points which was her second lowest total this season.
- Carlie Littlefield led the Tigers with 18 points.
KEEPING UP WITH THE QUAKERS
- Penn outlasted a tough defensive effort by Dartmouth, winning 56-52 Saturday night at The Palestra.
- Louie put the Big Green on top by one with a layup with 7:05 left in the game.
- Penn retook the lead and Quinones made back-to-back baskets to make it a one-point game with two minutes to go.
- The Quakers held on as they made a layup and hit their free throws down the stretch to end the game.
- Quinones led the Big Green with 13 points and pulled down five rebounds, Brown was also in double figures with 10.
- Paula Lenart finished with six points and nine rebounds, including six offensive boards.
SCOUTING COLUMBIA
- Columbia is officially eliminated from the Ivy League tournament.
- The Lions enter the final weekend with an 8-17 record and 4-8 in the Ivy League. They could finish in a tie for fourth but the tie breakers would not fall their way.

- Janiya Clemmons led Columbia with 23 points, Sienna Durr had 15, Madison Hardy scored 14 and Riley Casey finished with 13.

- Annie McKenna had seven points, six rebounds and five assists.
- Bagwell-Katalinich led Cornell with 14 points, Samantha Clement had 13 and Kate Sramac finished with 11.
