CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Dartmouth men's outdoor track & field team began its weekend at the highly competitive Virginia Challenge.
Hosted by the Virginia Cavaliers at Lannigan Field, Friday marked the first of two days at the non-scoring meet.
The meet was cut short on Friday due to weather in the area with Saturday's schedule being altered to accommodate for more events.
HIGHLIGHTS:
•   In the morning section, the highlight was
Donovan Spearman's seventh-place finish in the 100m. The sophomore ran a 10.63 to claim second in his heat and one of the top times in the overall field of more than 40 competitors.

Cole Andrus was fifth in the javelin with a 62.65m toss on his sixth and final attempt.

Ben Ose claimed 14th in the pole vault, clearing 4.67m on his third attempt at the height.
