A record 300-plus female student-athletes participated in espnW’s signature event
On Monday, April 29, Dartmouth Athletics hosted espnW Campus Conversations at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. A record 300-plus female student-athletes, representing every Big Green varsity team, participated in espnW's signature event that has visited 30 college and university campuses since its inception in 2016.
Campus Conversations is designed to engage, inspire and educate female student-athletes through panel discussions and breakout sessions with accomplished college alumnae and ESPN talent, centered around the theme of "The Great Pivot" — life beyond college and sports.
ESPN correspondent Michele Steele served as moderator for the discussion with a panel consisting of Dartmouth alumnae, including Lisa Friel '79 (basketball and tennis), Senior Vice President & Special Counsel for Investigations at the NFL; Sarah Parsons Wolter '10 (ice hockey), Vice President of Equity Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley; and Janae Dunchack '14 (track & field), a medical student at Dartmouth's Geisel School of Medicine, as well as Carol Stiff, Vice President of Programming and Acquisitions for ESPN.
Check out a recap video from the event as well as the full panel discussion.
