PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Dartmouth women's tennis finished the Brown Invitation on Sunday with four matches won.
In doubles,
Nicole Conard and
Catherine Cable defeated Jovana Bogicevic and Jasmin Tripathy from UMass, 6-4.
Chuyang Guan and
Jingyi Peng fell short to the UMass duo of Jodie Lawrence-Taylor and Anna Naadiy, 6-4. In the final doubles match,
Nina Paripovic and
Allison McCann fell to Stony Brook's Elizabeth Pam and Jamie Wei, 6-3.
The Big Green split their singles matches 3-3 on the day. Conard defeated Bogicevic from UMass, 6-3, 6-3, while Cable beat Tripathy, 6-3, 6-1. McCann had the third singles win for Dartmouth with by taking down Stony Brook's Pam, 6-2, 6-0.
Paripovic, Guan and Peng all played hard fought matches, but came up short.
Dartmouth gets set for the Harvard Tournament on Saturday.
