HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth men's tennis started its busy home weekend with a 7-0 victory over Rice at the Boss Tennis Center on Friday evening.

The Big Green kicked off the match by winning at all three doubles positions.
Dan Martin and
Pierce Widdecombe had a 6-4 victory at the No. 3 spot, while 28th-ranked
Charlie Broom and
David Horneffer had a 6-3 win at the top spot.
Peter Conklin and
Casey Ross finished it off with a 7-5 win on court two.

Martin and
Peter Conklin gave Dartmouth (4-0) a 3-0 edge with their wins at the No. 2 and 4 singles positions, while Horneffer clinched with his 6-3, 6-1 defeat of Eric Rutledge at the No. 4 position.
Alejandro Quiles,
Anders Gibbons and No. 52 Broom followed up with their victories to complete the sweep.

Dartmouth will be back at Boss on Saturday with an 11 a.m. match against Boston University. Bryant will follow at 4 p.m.
