LAST TIME OUT
On Tuesday night,
Catherine Trevors found the back of the net in Dartmouth's 3-1 loss to New Hampshire at the Whittemore Center.
The unassisted goal occurred at the seven-minute mark of the third period. The rookie scored her seventh marker of the season on a 2-on-1, intercepting the puck deep in the defensive zone to get the Big Green on the board.
SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
Since the last time the teams met on Jan. 18, Colgate has gone 0-2-2, going scoreless in a pair of games against Cornell (2-0, 5-0) before tying both St. Lawrence (1-1) and Clarkson (2-2).
LAST TIME AGAINST COLGATE
An explosive second period led to the Raiders defeating the Big Green by a score of 5-2 at the Class of 1965 Arena.
After being scoreless at the end of the first period, a combined five goals were scored in the second, giving Colgate a 4-1 advantage heading into the final period.
CC Bowlby and
Emily McLaughlin were credited with Dartmouth's goals, while
Katerina Dajia assisted on the second marker. In net,
Hannah Humphreys had 12 saves in the first 28 minutes before making way for
Kayla Wormsbecher, who had 12 stops in 31 minutes.
SCOUTING THE BIG RED
Cornell continues on its hot streak and, since last meeting Dartmouth three weeks ago, has gone 4-0-1. After slowly moving their way up the national rankings, the Big Red have settled at No. 2, sitting behind Wisconsin at the top (though Cornell has one less loss than the Badgers).
LAST TIME AGAINST CORNELL
On Jan. 17, Trevors scored in the 5-1 loss to Cornell at Lynah Rink.
Her tally was assisted on by
Bailee Brekke and
Lotti Odnoga. Humphreys had 32 saves.
The Big Green were the last team to score about the Big Red until a 1-1 tie against Clarkson two weeks later.
BETWEEN THE PIPES
Against the Wildcats on Tuesday, Wormsbecher played a solid 60 minutes, ending the game with 30 saves, matching her season-high from St. Lawrence less than two weeks ago.
