Dartmouthsports.com will be recognizing the senior student-athletes who had their spring seasons canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today's Senior … Kristen Soh of the women's golf team.
DartmouthSports.com: What is your most memorable on-course team moment?
Kristen Soh: My most memorable on-course team moment was when I held up a giant cutout of Bethany's head as she walked in on the 18th hole at the Dartmouth Invitational. The entire team was watching her finish, and we were all able to cheer our team captain on together.
DS: And your most memorable on-course individual moment?
KS: My most memorable on-course individual moment was when I was playing a few practice holes with Julianne and Bethany. When we had all teed off on the 12th hole, no one had seen where my ball had landed. When the three of us reached the green, we found my ball in the hole! It was my one-and-only hole-in-one at HCC, and it was even more exciting that my teammates were there to witness it.
DS: Do you have a nickname on the team, and if so, how did you get it?
KS: Everyone calls me K-Soh! Coach Kirk and I have a running joke that I "sprinkle K-Soh sauce" on the course. He even gave me a bottle of my very own K-Soh sauce!
DS: Any hidden talents you can share?
KS: None.
DS: If you could swap places with one teammate, who would it be and why?
KS: I'd probably swap places with
Angela Zhang, because she's one of the longest hitters on the team.
DS: What is your favorite place on campus?
MC: My favorite place on campus is the library. I often run into the team and chat with them instead of doing work!
DS: What are your plans after Dartmouth (or the spring term in general)?
KS: I will be working as a business development analyst at a hedge fund in Los Angeles.
