Today's Senior … Bethany Burns of the women's golf team.
Dartmouthsports.com: What is your most memorable on-course team moment?
Bethany Burns: The 2019 Ivy League Championship, even though I wasn't playing, was incredible in every way. DS: And your most memorable on-course individual moment?
BB: The 2018 Dartmouth Invitational — this tournament is always special and walking up the 18th green, my teammates were waiting for me with a poster of my face. It was an unforgettable moment for our team.
DS: Do you have a nickname on the team, and if so, how did you get it?
BB: BB is what Coach Kirk tends to call me, my initials.
DS: Any hidden talents you can share?
BB: I play piano.
DS: If you could swap places with one teammate, who would it be and why?
BB: One of the freshmen, Sammy Yao '23 or Angela Zhang '23, so I could relive my Dartmouth experience all over again (and they're incredibly talented golfers).
DS: What is your favorite place on campus?
BB: I would have to go with the Green on a sunny day. Our campus is beautiful and it's fun to see everyone on the Green.
DS: What are your plans after Dartmouth?
BB: I will be moving to New York and starting a career in financial services.
