HANOVER, N.H. – The 2019-20 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Publications and Digital Design Contest award winners were announced Thursday as part of this year's virtual conference.

Dartmouth claimed three awards this year for work deemed "Best in the Nation" in the University Division for work created within the department's Varsity Athletics Communications office.

The program developed for the football team's game against Princeton played at Yankee Stadium was recognized as First in Nation for 'Special Event Program.' The 80-plus page program designed for the Nov. 9 game in The Bronx bested Kansas State's football yearbook for the top spot in the nation in the category.

The program from that game at Yankee Stadium is on sale through DartmouthSports.com and can be purchased for just $10.

Pat Salvas (layout, design & content), Rick Bender (content) and Cindi Mansell (associate editor) were all honored for their work on the program that commemorated the Big Green's 27-10 win against the Tigers.

Salvas would also take home two other awards for his work with the men's hockey team. For the second straight year, Salvas and the Dartmouth men's hockey program were named winners of 'Best Single-Sport Program' as well as 'Best Cover.'

The team's Game Day program beat out Detroit Mercy men's soccer for the best team program over the course of a season, while the hockey covers were also recognized as the best in the nation in consecutive years after taking home both awards in 2018-19.
