Why did you choose Dartmouth? Besides the school's unmatched opportunities as a student and athlete, I chose Dartmouth because it felt like home after just two days. I had always known I wanted a unique college experience, and when my host explained that I "had the rest of my life to live in the city but might only have these four years to be in the woods and make memories of a lifetime with my best friends," I knew Dartmouth was the right place for me.
Who is one of your role models/mentors? I'd have to say my mom is my greatest role model. Why did you choose Dartmouth? Dartmouth felt like home for me from the very first time I toured the campus with my older sister who is a '22. Then when I took my first stroke on the Connecticut River in the Evergreen Rowing Camp after sophomore year, I knew for sure. I continued with the search process and happily, Dartmouth still proved to be the best fit for me. I am incredibly excited to be attending a school where I can balance three elements of college life that are most important to me: rigorous academics, competitive athletics, and an active social life. I am thrilled to be a '24 and enter an institution full of engaged and multi-faceted individuals.

The quarter system and emphasis on interdisciplinary studies enables me to pursue an education in both STEM and the humanities while establishing strong relationships among my peers and professors. Being able to take advantage of these educational resources while rowing at a competitive level out of Dartmouth's newly renovated boathouse is a dream come true.
Who is one of your role models/mentors? One of my role models is Emma Watson. After seeing her portray Hermione Granger, I had a high perception of Emma that she has exceeded over the years. She is intelligent, driven, and not afraid to speak up about what she is passionate about. She was appointed a UN Women's Goodwill Ambassador and has addressed world leaders about gender equality. Why did you choose Dartmouth? I love how tight-knit the Dartmouth community is. It seems like there's so much to do and try on campus. The team is so positive and friendly, but also crazy-amazing and driven. I think it might be because of the small class sizes, but when I got to sit in on classes, it seemed like the professors cared about their students and really got to know them.
Who is one of your role models/mentors? I don't think that I have just one person that I would consider to be my role model. There are so many amazing people that I've met and gotten to know over my 18+ years that it would be impossible for me to narrow it down to just one.
