HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men's hockey team will add nine new names to the roster for the 2020-21 season.
Koenig Family Head Coach
Reid Cashman will welcome eight members of the Class of 2024 to the Big Green as well as a sophomore walk on to round out the team's roster for the 115th season in program history.
Tyler Borsch

Maple Grove, Minn. / Jersey Hitmen (NCDC)

•   Graduated from Maple Grove High School, where he was a three-year letter winner with the Crimson and helped his team earn a berth in the Minnesota State Tournament as a junior.
•   As a senior and captain, he was named the team's Best Defenseman and earned the Hobey Baker Character Award.
•   Suited up for New Jersey Hitmen (USPHL) from 2018-20, winning a pair NCDC Regular Season Championships.
•   He appeared in 74 games over two seasons and recording 32 points (5-27-32) with the Hitmen.
•   Was named an NCDC All-Star in 2019-20.
•   In New Jersey, he played alongside another Big Green blueliner,
Tanner Palocsik '23 and classmate
Josh Waters.
•   Represented Minnesota at the 2015 USA Hockey Select 15 National Festival.
Clay Stevenson

•   Played for the Coquitlam Express (BCHL) for three seasons, suiting up between the pipes in 85 games during that time.
•   In the 2019-20 season, he backstopped his team to the Ron Boileau Memorial Trophy, given to the Regular Season Champion of the BCHL.
•   During that season, Stevenson led the league in save percentage (.936) and goals against average (1.77), was named a First Team All Star, the league' s Top Goaltender and was part of the BCHL's Top Goaltending Duo (Wally Forslund Trophy).
•   During that final season with the Express, he posted a 30-2-0 record, with four shutouts.
•   In 2016-17, he played in KIJHL where selected to play in that league's Top Prospect's Game.
Ryan Lovett

•   Played four years with the Boston Jr. Bruins (USPHL), including three with their NCDC team.
•   In 140 regular season games with the Bruins, Lovett posted 98 points (37-61-98).
•   Won the 2019 NCDC Playoff Championship.
•   Played in the NCDC All-Star Game and served as team captain in 2019-20.
•   Graduated from Franklin High School.
•   His brother Conor is in the same academic class and will begin his collegiate career at Merrimack in 2020-21.
Nick Unruh

•   A three-year veteran of the BCHL where he played for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
•   Played 166 regular season games for the Silverbacks, registering 112 points (47-65-112).
•   Earned Rookie of the Year honors for Salmon Arm in 2017-18, while being named the team's Most Dedicated Player and Fan Favorite following the 2018-19 campaign.
•   Served as an alternate captain his final season with the Silverbacks.
•   Attended and graduated from the prestigious Edge School (Calgary) prior to playing juniors.
•   His prep team won the Canadian Secondary School Hockey League Championship (CSSHL) in 2016-17
•   Played AAA hockey for the Calgary Flames Association.
Josh Waters

•   Helped his NCDC team to 42 wins in 50 games and a Regular Season Championship in his lone season in New Jersey.
•   For his efforts, Waters was named a NCDC All-Star.
•   Attended the Northwood School in 2018-19.
•   In 68 games at the Lake Placid, New York, school, he registered 72 points (31-41-72) and led his team to a berth at the 2018-19 USA Hockey National Championships.
•   Attended Cheshire Academy (Conn.) prior to Northwood, notching 19 points (11-8-19) in 20 games during the 2017-18 season.
•   Played two U16 seasons in the East Coast Elite League, named an ECEL All-Star both times.
Ryan Sorkin

•   Started the 2019-20 year with Muskegon Lumberjacks, before stops in Omaha and Madison.
•   After 25 games in the USHL, Sorkin returned to the USPHL and his team from the 2018-19 season, New Jersey Rockets.
•   Over the course of two years with the Rockets, he played in 65 games registering 57 points (20-37-57).
•   Was named an NCDC All-Star in 2018-19.
•   Played two seasons of U16 hockey for both Team Illinois and Chicago Mission in the High Performance Hockey League (HPHL) prior to his time in juniors.
•   His 2018 Mission team won a USA Hockey National Championship.
•   Represented the Central District at both the Select 15 (2017) and Select 16 (2018) USA Hockey National Festivals.
•   His sister Sydney is a rising-senior (Class of 2021) at Harvard and plays on the women's hockey team.
Joey Musa

•   Graduated from the Trinity Pawling School (Pawling, New York).
•   As a four-year member of the Pride, Musa played in 99 games and registered 90 points (29-61-90), setting a program record for career points.
•   As a junior, Musa helped lead his team to an undefeated season in Founders League Play, a league championship and a berth in the Prep Large School Tournament.
•   Served as team captain as a senior and was named to the USHS Prep All-Founders League Team.
•   While at Trinity Pawling, he also played for the Mid-Fairfield Rangers in Connecticut for two split seasons. In both those years, his U18 team earned a berth to USA Hockey's National Championships.
•   Musa represented the Southeastern District at three consecutive USA Hockey National Festivals (2016-18).
•   This past season, Musa made the move to the BCHL where he played 56 games for the Langley Rivermen, registering 35 points (14-24-35).
Luke House

•   From 2015 to 2018, House spent time in both the High Performance Hockey League (Team Illinois / Chicago Mission) and Tier 1 Elite League (Milwaukee Junior Admirals).
•   In 2017-18, he helped his U18 Mission squad to a HPHL and USA Hockey Central District Championship, earning a berth at USA Hockey Nationals in the process.
•   The following year, House joined the New Jersey Rockets (USPHL) where he played for their NCDC team.
•   In two years with the Rockets, he played in 100 games and registered consecutive 39-point campaigns, including a 19-goal season in 2019-20.
•   Served as an alternate captain in his final season in New Jersey.
•   Both parents attended Miami (OH) University, where his father Ken played hockey and was drafted in 1989 by the Washington Capitals. His mother Molly was an All-American track athlete with the Redhawks.
•   His sister Kathryn House currently attends Michigan and was part of the 2018 Big Ten Cross Country Championship Team
Troy Burkhart '23

•   Joins the team after playing with the Dartmouth ACHA DIII team.
•   Helped guide the Dartmouth club team to Co-National Championship honors in 2019-20 as the team went undefeated in the regular season and was the No. 1 seed before COVID-19 forced the postseason to be canceled.
•   Played four seasons of hockey at HB Plant High School in Tampa.
•   Was named the Lightning High School Hockey League Goalie of the Year as a junior and the All-Academic Player of the Year as a senior.
•   Was a four-time all-academic player and the two-time top academic goaltender for the conference.
•   In addition to his time with the club team in Hanover, Burkhart also served as a practice goalie for the Big Green women's hockey team.
•   His father Dax Burkhart '96 was a defenseman for the Big Green from 1992-96.
