HANOVER, N.H.-- Koenig Family Head Coach of Dartmouth Men's Hockey Reid Cashman announced on Thursday the 2026-27 schedule for Dartmouth men's hockey. The reigning ECAC Hockey champions will play 30 regular season games including eight non-conference games.
The Big Green open 2026-27 with a four straight home games starting with a two-game series against Alaska-Fairbanks on Saturday, Oct. 31 and Sunday, Nov. 1. This will be the first time that Dartmouth and the Nanooks have squared off, both programs have been playing college hockey for over 100 years.
Dartmouth starts a stretch of five straight ECAC games starting on Friday, Nov. 6 against Yale before taking on Brown the next day at Thompson Arena. The Big Green hit the road of the first time on Friday, Nov. 13 to take on Quinnipiac. The following day, the Big Green take on Princeton in a rematch of the 2026 ECAC Hockey Championship at Hobey Baker Rink. The final game of the five game ECAC stretch has Dartmouth traveling to Cambridge to take on Harvard on Friday, Nov. 27.
The Big Green close out November two days later on Sunday, Nov. 29 at Thompson Arena as Northeastern travels to Hanover for a non-conference matchup.
The month of December features a pair of ECAC road games on Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5 against Union and RPI before the Big Green play four non-conference games to close out 2026. Dartmouth hosts Stonehill on Thursday, Dec. 10, in state rival New Hampshire on Sunday, Dec. 13, and Holy Cross on Tuesday, Dec. 15. For the final game of 2026, the Big Green travel to Vermont to take on the Catamounts on Saturday, Dec. 19.
After the holiday break, the Big Green open 2027 on the road by taking on Brown on New Year's Day and Yale on Saturday, Jan. 2.
Dartmouth then hosts four straight home games against Princeton on Friday, Jan. 8, Quinnipiac on Saturday, Jan. 9, St. Lawrence on Friday, Jan. 15, and Clarkson on Saturday, Jan. 16.
The Big Green close January with three road games starting on Friday, Jan. 22 at Colgate, the next day the Big Green travel to Ithaca, N.Y. to take on Cornell. Following the trip to Central New York, the Big Green wrap up out non-conference play at Merrimack on Sunday, Jan. 31.
Dartmouth plays seven games in February with five of them coming at Thompson Arena. Harvard travels to the Upper Valley on Friday, Feb. 5 before the Big Green host RPI and Union on Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 13. The final home weekend comes on Friday, Feb. 19 and Saturday, Feb. 20 as Cornell and Colgate visit the Big Green.
The Big Green close out the regular season in the North Country as they take on Clarkson on Friday, Feb. 26 and St. Lawrence on Saturday, Feb. 27.

Dartmouth is coming off an historic 2025-26 season that saw the Big Green win a program best 23 games en route to winning the program's first ECAC Hockey title. The Big Green advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1980. Dartmouth returns eight of its top 10 point getters from a season ago including ECAC Hockey Player of the Year Hayden Stavroff, and All-ECAC honorees Hank Cleaves, CJ Foley, and Emmett Croteau. Cashman enters his sixth season (seventh year) at Dartmouth after being named ECAC Hockey Coach of the Year and receiving the Spencer Penrose Award as National Coach of the Year in 2025-26.
