PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The Dartmouth field hockey team was defeated by Brown, 3-0, in Ivy League action on Saturday afternoon at Goldberger Family Field.

Dartmouth (4-6, 0-2) had five shots on goal while Brown (4-5, 1-1) had nine.

The Big Green almost got on the scoreboard towards the end of the first quarter. Junior
Holley Cromwell took a penalty corner with just under one minute remaining and played the ball to the top of the circle. Senior
Sara Falkson fired a shot towards goal and was saved by Brown goalkeeper Calista Manuza.

The Bears opened the scoring early in the second quarter as Emma Rosen took advantage of a loose ball in the Big Green circle. Brown added to their lead late in the third quarter and early in the fourth quarter to take the win.
