NEW HAVEN, CONN. — The Big Green secure a 2-1 victory at Yale, Saturday afternoon thanks to two goals from freshman forward
Hannah Curtin. It was the first Ivy win of the season for Dartmouth (5-4-1, 1-2).

The first half opened with one quick goal from each side. The Big Green scored in the 8th minute when Curtin placed the ball into the left corner thanks to a pass from freshman forward
Dasa Hase. Dartmouth's 1-0 lead was short-lived as Yale (1-11, 0-3) evened the score just 17 seconds later. Just eight minutes into the game the score was tied at 1. The 1-1 score line held through the rest of the half and the two sides were even after 45 minutes of play.

The stalemate lasted late into the second half and the Big Green weathered the storm as the Bulldogs put five shots on goal in the second. Sophomore goalkeeper
Emily Hardy made five saves to keep Dartmouth in the game. The Big Green finally broke through in the 88th minute. It was Curtin once again as she headed the ball past the Yale keeper off a cross from junior forward
Allie Winstanley. The Bulldogs could not find an answer with only two minutes remaining and Dartmouth took home their first Ivy win of the season.

The Big Green return to action next Saturday for a 2 p.m. game against Penn in Philadelphia, Pa., the game will be streamed on ESPN+.
