Doreen Ariik and
Rosie Jennings led with five rebounds apiece.

Dartmouth (0-9) vs. Manhattan (5-4)
The Jaspers had a 4-0 lead two minutes into the first quarter until
Mia Curtis' bucket got Dartmouth on the board. From there, Manhattan had five unanswered points, kept the Big Green scoreless for two minutes and had a 13-5 lead before Dartmouth really showed up. A Douglas three-pointer opened the floodgates for treys from
Grace Niekelski and a season-first for
Emma Koch to make it a two-point game (13-11). Completing the 10-2 run was Curtis with two foul shots and a layup with 17 seconds to go to tie things up heading to the second (15-15).
Â
A Curtis trifecta at 8:16 gave the Green their first lead of the game but the team was held there while the Jaspers went on a nine-point run over the next four minutes (26-18).
Victoria Page ended a six-minute scoring drought with her shot at 1:35 before Manhattan ended the half at the buzzer (30-20).
Â
A layup by Niekelski and a 3-pointer from
Carrington Washburn helped Dartmouth cut the 10-point gap in half (30-25). A pair of free throws were all the Big Green allowed of the Jaspers in the first three and a half minutes, but four quick points made it a 34-25 contest. Dartmouth had a 10-4 run over the last 4:40 thanks to Douglas' eight points and a layup from
Mekkena Boyd to make for a close game once again (38-35).
Â
Good defense kept both teams scoreless for almost four full minutes until Ariik got Dartmouth within one (38-37). Manhattan responded with a three, a layup and two free throws to extend its lead to seven before Douglas' fourth 3-pointer narrowed that lead (44-40). A 9-2 Manhattan run over the last four minutes gave the visitors a 54-42 advantage, but Jennings was able to add a layup before the game was done (56-44).
Â
The team is trading the snow and cold temperatures for sun and mid-80s when it heads to Texas for games against UT San Antonio (Dec. 13) and Texas State (Dec. 16).
