HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's track and field team won their home opening meet at Leverone Field House this weekend.
The Big Green competed against Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
Dartmouth took first, finishing with 186 points. Vermont finished second with 173 points followed by Maine (116) and New Hampshire (102).
"It's always nice to compete on your home turf and we are grateful to be able to do so after two years," said Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field
Porscha Dobson.
"After last week's competition, many of our athletes gained an appetite for improvement and that's just what we saw today. Our coaching staff and I were pleased with how our team competed. There's more work to be done and better execution will come of course, but I'm glad to see the positive energy, excitement, and competitive attitudes. Now we enjoy family and friends during this winter break, continue the work and prepare for the 2022 season. "
