What is your favorite competition/athletic memory?
My first Indoor Heps is one of my favorite athletic memories. It was my first time competing at the conference meet and our 4x400 relay team placed to earn a medal. I loved everyone on that relay team – Amos Cariati '18, Parker Johnson '19, and Alec Eschholz '19 – both as athletes and as friends, so it was a special race with a special group of guys.
Â
What food could you eat every single day?
Pizza. I worked as a pizza deliveryman for a few years in high school and I would always get a few slices after work.
Â
If you could swap places with one teammate, who would it be and why?
Sam Stevens because she's one of the sweetest, kindest, and funniest people on the team and I would enjoy experiencing that for the entire day.
Â
What was your favorite place on campus?
Post-practice Foco with my teammates was always some of the most fun I had on campus. Specifically, the fist long table on the left of the dark side is one of my favorite places.
Â
What is the best gift you ever received? (small or big, or even a piece of advice, but something that has had a positive effect on your life).Â
When I was a captain during my junior year with Cha'Mia Rothwell, our friend and teammate Michelle Quinn gave us both a handmade bracelet that said DTF Captain. It was a super nice gift and I still have it to this day.
Â
Other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life?
Coach Lori Baldwin. She was my hurdles coach in high school and without her I never would have become the athlete I am today, and I wouldn't be at Dartmouth. She was incredibly generous, talented at coaching, and a great person.
Â
Outside of sports, what are you most passionate about?
I love music: whenever I'm driving, working out, or hanging with friends I always have music playing. I also love going to music festivals because of the incredible energy and excitement.Â
