Men's Hockey Announces Entire 2021-22 Schedule

Cashman announces complete 29-game slate for upcoming season
HANOVER, N.H. – Koenig Family Head Coach of Dartmouth Men's Hockey Reid Cashman has announced his team's complete 2021-22 schedule.
In addition to the 20 ECAC Hockey games already announced by the league office this spring, Dartmouth will play seven non-conference contests and a pair against travel partner Harvard to round out the 29-game regular season.
The highlight of the non-conference schedule is once again the mid-season Ledyard Classic at Thompson Arena on Dec. 30-31. The field this year features New Hampshire, Boston College and Mercyhurst with the Big Green taking on the Wildcats in the first game and either the Eagles or the Lakers the following day.
The 2021-22 home opener will come on Saturday, Oct. 30 against UConn, the team the Green and White defeated in the last Ledyard Classic Championship Game in December 2019. Another Hockey East team will also appear in Hanover this season as regional rival Vermont makes the bi-annual trip down I-89 to take on Dartmouth on Sunday, Nov. 28. Two days before that, the Green will be in Rhode Island to take on Providence on Friday, Nov. 26.
The final road game of the first half of the season will see the Big Green head to Merrimack for the first time since 2002 when they play in North Andover on Dec. 17. The lone non-conference game of 2022 will be a trip to take on UMass Lowell on Saturday, Feb. 5.
Tentative plans for the two conference games against Harvard are set for the season opener on Oct. 29 in Hanover with the Crimson hosting Dartmouth on Friday, Feb. 4. Those days and times are subject to change.
All home and ECAC Hockey road games — minus those at Rensselaer — will be carried live on ESPN+. An audio-only feed of all Dartmouth games both home and away will also be streamed through DartmouthSports.com in conjunction with Learfield IMG College.
